1. Auction Participation
All bidders must provide accurate and complete registration information. The bidder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activity conducted through their account.
By registering for an auction, you confirm that you are legally authorized to enter into a binding agreement and that all information provided is accurate.
2. Bidding
All bids are considered binding commitments to purchase if the bidder is the successful high bidder, subject to the specific terms of the applicable auction.
Bidders are responsible for reviewing all auction descriptions, photographs, terms, conditions, inspection information, and other available information before placing a bid.
Once a bid has been submitted, it may not be withdrawn unless specifically permitted by the Company or applicable auction terms.
The Company reserves the right to reject, cancel, suspend, or remove any bid, bidder, or auction listing when permitted by law and/or when necessary to protect the integrity of the auction.
3. Item Descriptions and Condition
Items are generally sold “AS IS, WHERE IS,” unless otherwise specifically stated in the individual auction listing.
Descriptions, photographs, measurements, and other information are provided in good faith but may not include every defect, condition issue, or characteristic of an item.
Bidders are encouraged to inspect items personally when inspection is offered and to conduct their own research before bidding.
Southern Alamance Auction & Realty LLC makes no guarantee regarding the condition, completeness, authenticity, suitability, or fitness of any item unless expressly stated in writing.
4. Winning Bids and Purchase Price
The successful bidder agrees to purchase the item(s) for the amount of the winning bid plus any applicable buyer’s premium, sales tax, fees, shipping charges, or other charges disclosed in the applicable auction terms.
A winning bid constitutes a binding agreement to purchase, subject to applicable law and the specific terms of the auction.
5. Payment
Payment must be made according to the payment terms stated for the applicable auction.
We reserve the right to require payment by an approved payment method and to charge applicable fees, taxes, or other disclosed charges.
Failure to make payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the purchase, loss of bidding privileges, additional fees, or other remedies available under the applicable auction terms and law.
6. Pickup and Removal
Successful bidders are responsible for picking up or arranging for the removal of purchased items within the timeframe specified in the individual auction.
Items not removed within the stated timeframe may be subject to storage fees, forfeiture, resale, or other remedies as permitted by the auction terms and applicable law.
The Company is not responsible for damage to items occurring after the buyer takes possession.
7. Shipping
When shipping is offered, shipping arrangements, costs, and responsibilities will be stated in the applicable auction listing or communicated to the winning bidder.
Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is responsible for applicable shipping and handling charges.
8. Sales Tax and Fees
Applicable sales taxes, buyer’s premiums, service fees, processing fees, and other charges will be disclosed when applicable.
The buyer is responsible for all charges associated with their purchase unless otherwise stated.
9. Website Use
The content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, auction information, and other materials, is provided for informational and business purposes.
Users agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes or in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or interfere with the website or its operation.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of website content or Company materials is prohibited without written permission.
